Welcome to Issue #17 of Sake Industry News. As of June 1 the Japanese government has declared an end to Japan's state of emergency, meaning for better or worse things will start to return to some form of normality (or will they?).
As always, how this affects the sake industry will be a matter of "wait and see", but for now let's hope it leads to positive things. Unfortunately, tasting events and festivals are still off the table, so online tastings, virtual brewery tours and Zoom Q&A sessions have become something of the new norm.
