The world is a changing place and although we're not going to even touch on the politics of any nation, we would be remiss to ignore the changes going on in the world. And as you'll find in the Industry Stirrings corner of this newsletter, the recent goings on in America have had a curious influence on a couple of breweries here in Japan. Wherever you are and whatever you are doing, we hope you are well and enjoying sake as you see fit. Here in Japan, in the belly of the sake beast, the first new sake of the season have begun trickling into fridges in shops and bars, and while it might be too early to call - things look pretty good for sake quality in 2021. But then again, quality of sake has never really been an issue! Kampai!
