Welcome to issue #35 of SIN. If the brewing season were a working week we would be finishing up a Wednesday afternoon by now. The new sake has arrived and we're almost starting to see the spring releases hit the fridges.
There's still plenty left to come, but with major cities of Japan under "state of emergency" restrictions, it is still difficult to get out and see the fruits of these labors. With easing of the restrictions on the horizon and vaccines at the ready, let's hope we can see a safe return, however slight, to the sake culture we've all been missing over the past year. In the meantime, stay safe and drink sake!
