Welcome to Issue #42 of SIN.
The heat is definitely on here in Japan and now, more than ever, sake fans are champing at the bit to get out and enjoy some of that oh-so-sweet summer sake in the sun! Alas, it is not to be - at least not yet.
But we're not going to cry into our guinomi. Good times are just around the corner; vaccinations are beginning to pick up pace (slowly), and we're hoping it's just a matter of time before that good old Japanese efficiency kicks in and we have a fully vaccinated community and an active restaurant and bar scene again. It can't come soon enough!
For now we must settle for sake and Netflix in an air-conditioned living room.
