Welcome to Issue #43 of SIN.
Finally, the state of emergency has been lifted (for now) just enough to allow locals to nip out for a quick evening drink. Bars and restaurants are rejoicing in being able to finally open up again, even if it is only until 8pm. At this point, proprietors and customers alike are taking an, "enjoy it while you can" approach to the moment, knowing full well the government could pull the rug out from beneath us anytime they choose. And with the Olympics clearly receiving priority over everything else, it's a likely scenario.
Still, we all know things could be worse, and for many they are, so no more complaining.
Let's get out there and enjoy the sake sun while it shines!
